Foreign Disclosure Division (FD)
MISSION
The Army Foreign Disclosure Branch is responsible for ensuring judicious decisions are made when considering the
disclosure of Classified Military Information (CMI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
to Foreign Governments and International organizations. Success is defined as striking the proper balance
between supporting Army international activities and programs, while simultaneously protecting the critical
enablers of technology and information that provide the overmatch capabilities of our current and future force.
ABOUT US
Functions:
- Implement National and DoD Foreign Disclosure Policy for the Army
- Coordinate, review, and submit all Army exceptions to National Disclosure
Policy
- Control the Delegation of Disclosure Authority for CMI
- Oversee the execution of Delegated Disclosure Authority for CUI
- Provide Foreign Disclosure support to the Army Staff
- Manage/Execute the International Visits Program for the Army
- Management of the Army’s Foreign Liaison Officer Program
- Coordinate, review, and adjudicate foreign governments’ requests for
information (RFIs).
- Develop and manage Army Foreign Disclosure Training and Education policy
requirements at the enterprise level
