Purpose
The purpose of the information on this website
is to set forth guidance on procedures necessary
to carry out daily activities following the
policies and procedures of the National
Industrial Security Program (NISP) and its
Operating Manual (NISPOM). These documents
prescribed the requirements, restrictions and
other safeguards necessary to ensure the
protection of classified information released to
U.S Industry. The intent is to control U.S.
Government classified information and assist
security professionals involved in Industrial
Security to safeguard classified information in
the custody of contractors. |
