Threats

The threat is much broader than the threat from any Foreign Intelligence Service. The threats to our national security has changed in recent years. In some locations, the Foreign Intelligence Service threat may be lower than the threat of exploitation by terrorist or criminal organizations. In today's current environment, all these threats may be aimed equally at gaining both technology and information.

The Army Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) will address all the potential threats specific to a facility or system when making TEMPEST countermeasure recommendations.
