Physical Security

The Physical Security Team within the HQDA SSO is responsible for validating and certifying the physical facilities for Department of the Army sensitive compartmented facilities (SCIF), Tactical SCIFs, and conducting Staff Assisted Visits.

SCIF Accreditations

SCIFs are approved areas that can protect, process, and potentially store sensitive classified information and/or materials. The following items must be provided to the HQDA SSO in order to properly accredit your facility: (All Forms on this page are only available if you have access to AKO)

• (U//FOUO) Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) – This form is (C) or (S//NF) when filled in. This copy is only available to print, as this form is intended to be filled in only on SIPR or JWICS Terminals.
