Information Assurance
Our Mission is to support our Army at War and in Transformation with leading-edge Intelligence Information Management/Information Technology/Information Assurance (IM/IT/IA) systems, technologies, and services.
National Intelligence Strategy, Strategic Enterprise Objective II.2.C:
Standardize the certification and accreditation process for all Army Intelligence JWICS information technology systems. Develop a trust across the intelligence community information technology enterprise through the use of common standards and reciprocally accepted certification and accreditation decisions.
Title III, E-Government Act (Public Law 107-347), Federal Information Systems Security Management Act 2002: Develop, document, and implement an information security program to provide security for all U.S. Army G-2 information systems and the data that resides on them.
DoD Directives, Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) 6/3, and Army Regulation (AR) 25-2: Ensure the appropriate levels of Information Assurance (IA) awareness, training, education certification and workforce management are provided to all U.S. Army G-2 personnel and the personnel they sponsor. Maintain accreditation of the MI Forest unclassified and collateral networks.
