Methods of Appeals
The LOD issued by CCF will be accompanied by the Form 54 called the Notice of Intent to Appeal (NOIA). This document gives the applicant the opportunity to choose whether they want to appeal the denial/revocation and the method in which to appeal. The preference for appealing is selected on the Form 54, NOIA, and submitted to the Army CCF for processing.
There are
two
appeal options:
Option #1
Submit a written appeal directly to the PSAB.
Option #2
Appear before a DOHA Administrative Judge who will, in turn, review the case and forward a
recommendation
to the PSAB.
Regardless of the choice that is made, the NOIA must be returned to
CCF
before further action can take place.
