REMINDER!! SAPPC Beta participants who did not receive a passing score may re-take the exam within 90 days of initial sitting. Contact the Army SPeD PMO at usarmy.pentagon.hqda-dcs-g-2.mbx.sped@mail.mil for re-take options and follow the procedures stated in the "Enrollment" page.

Due to Administrative constraints DSS has slowed down testing for FY12 and is concentrating test efforts towards for FY13. Therefore testing is limited to the CDSE in Linthicum, MD and those areas listed on DSS attrition test schedule at http://www.dss.mil/seta/sped/test-sites.html.

Obtaining the Security Professional Education Development/Security Asset Protection Professional (SPeD ) Certification is a significant achievement in a DoD security career. The SPeD certification indicates that a person has successfully demonstrated understanding of facts, concepts, and principles which the DoD community deems critical to successfully perform security-related programs and mission that protect DoD assets.

SPeD Certifications must be maintained and renewed every two years. See "Maintain/Renew" page for more information.
