For all Commands, Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA) should be an integral part of each Command's security program. A sound security posture is the first line of defense to protect Army personnel and information and is critical to managing risk. All Army personnel have an individual and official responsibility for safeguarding our national security information and controlled unclassified information, reporting derogatory information and properly responding to threat indicators.
Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-2, developed three standardized/mandatory security training products to assist personnel with their responsibilities mentioned above. These training products are available on the Army Management Learning System (ALMS) and are outlined in
ALARACT 207/2013. Additionally, these products satisfy the security training requirements mentioned in AR 380-05 and AR 380-67. Local security training may supplement the mandatory security training requirements.
