Career Program-35 is a sub-category of the
ACTEDs funding.
CP-35 Eligibility.
All DCIPS CP 35 members of the Army Civilian
Corp serving in career status appointments,
Schedule An excepted appointments without time
limitation, or excepted appointments in the
Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System
(DCIPS), and have a minimum total of three years
service in any one or a combination of such
appointments are eligible to apply for
Competitive Professional Development, unless
otherwise directed by statue. " CP 35 careerists
may submit nominations for separate competitive
consideration for one or more of the following
categories of training and development programs
in Section I: Short-term Management or Technical
Training; Developmental Assignments; University
Education, and Training-With-Industry.
Careerists may also propose programs that
combine training and development from two or
more categories.
In addition, all Defense Civilian Intelligence
Personnel System (DCIPS) careerists, IA-03 full
performance and IA-05, may submit nominations
for the Intelligence Community Joint Duty
Assignment Program (JDA), National Intelligence
University (NIU) Training, and the DoD Security
Professional Education Development (SPED)
Certification Program.

REMINDER: There are several NEW requirements when
submitting training requests which became
effective 15 November 2010. Please follow the
guidelines when submitting your training
requests or they will NOT be approved/funded by
G3/5/7. If you recently submitted requests and
it was approved, you are still required to
follow these procedures or the training will NOT
be funded.
